I`m running fr school president and I want 2 know if u guys like it!?
I`m 11 so her we go… HI my names Devon, and I`d like to tell you why I want to run for Student Council President. I want to run for president because I want this school to be the best it could be. I know how you guys like field trips and things like that so I would try my best to try and Pursuade Mr.Latoni (principal) and Mrs.Tellier (vice principal) to make that possible. If you need help or anything I`d be there to help. I`d be more than happy to be school president because I like to listen to what you have to say, particularly comments or questions. Well I gotta go, but please vote for Devon. Thank You. (thanks who ever reads this!)

i hate to tell you this, but most of us who reads this cant vote for you!! just make sure when you give your speech, you tell the whole truth.. dont promise things that you cannot get…

Keep trying, it’s okay but it could be great. You might want to change parts like “things like that” because it sounds nervous and rushed.
Reread it and try to make it flow better. And the last bit, “well i gotta go, but please vote for Devon” isn’t very persuasive. You might want to change it to something like “Vote for Devon and have your voice heard”, you know, something like that.
And the “If you need help or anything like that i’d be there to help” would i think sound better as “If you ever need help with anything I’ll be there.”
But these are just suggestions. remember to not talk to fast when you’re giving your speech, and don’t make promises you aren’t going to keep. We already have a president who does that 😉

How long does this speech have to be? At the moment it seems short, jumpy and unentertaining. I’m sure you could do so much better, keep trying.
