I have a runny nose, headaches, possibly fever, and mild laryngitis…?
Is that enough of a reason to stay home from school or should I tough it out and just go?

No. Stay home or else you’ll infect dedicated people in school with that virus.

Stay home. Even if you feel kind of okay, you probably want to avoid infecting everyone else. Viruses tend to spread like wildfire at schools – so it would be best to stay home for a day or two.

You should tough it out, then get sent back home so that your teacher knows what a dedicated student you are and you can be the teacher’s pet.
