Omg yes its awesome! Cherish the memories because I lost so many friends this year its not even funny :(. It was a crazy year but I absolutely loved it all, the drama, the funny drug busts, everything! I hate that I didnt do more stuff with my friends or take more pictures because I cant go back and change things now.

I remember that it was great fun! Everything changes. You are on the first steps to becoming an adult. You get to take new and different courses and you can actually begin preparation for college by some of the courses you take. Prepare for college no matter what. Even if your family is poor there are ways to go to college. Your school counselor can explain or search on the web for scholarships, Sallie Mae, etc.
This is also the time when people begin dating. Just remember that if you think something is wrong or bad for you,do not do it! It does not matter what the others are doing. Do what is right for you. If your friends cannot handle that,they are not really your friends.

well i actually hated my eight grade year b.c i changed schoold and i missed all of my friends but the the first semester while i was at my old school it was awesome i mean ur the oldest ppl in school y wouldnt it be fun. and dont worry about being nervous its pretty much the same just a grade higher and u feel older lol but just wait till next year high school is much better than middle school lol

Eighth grade is pretty fun, considering you’re the oldest kids in the school. You have more responsibility, and a little more freedom. But academics get harder, because teachers are trying to prepare you for High School; that’s when the sh*t hits the fan.

it could be the best year of your life or the worst year. there were definitely a lot of great times to my 8th grade year, lots of laughs and we had an awesome time. unfortunately, one of our classmates comitted suicide, so that ruined like everything for a long time. but, there’s nothing to be worried about. it’s not much different from 7th grade. have fun with it! in the end, you’re not going to want to leave. best of luck! =D

It was a lot of fun for me. I loved it. It just flew by. Don’t be nervous, you’ll be ok. It’s different for everyone, of course, but the advice is the same for all grades: just do your work and be good in class.

to be honest, the eighth grade was one of the best years ever. but in those kind of situations, it actually depends on you, the way you take things. if you’re smiley, outgoing and doesn’t take things too personally then I could guarantee you that it’s going to be a jolly year. just don’t let people get to you, and whenever someone tries to bug you, just laugh it off, not in a dorky way, but just don’t let them know they’re bugging you. have a good year!

eighth grade is just like seventh grade, except you are the older kids in the school (Middle school). it is more fun since u get to make fun of the little seventh graders (sevys)
