Your best bet is probably to tell the truth and hope that it is possible to get switched. Sometimes the truth really does work.

You actually can say that. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be switched to a class that your friends are in. It will make your classes much more enjoyable and help you to be comfortable.

Guidance counselors are some of the best people I’ve ever met in my life. Believe me, she’ll understand!

See if it’s possible for you to get switched. Usually it’s based on the amount of students in a class.

I can’t even think of a good lie for this, though I don’t recommenced lying about something anyways. Especially not something like this. 🙂

Kids in your grade level are separated according to standardized test results and grades, even though, technically, this is not supposed to happen. Talk with your guidance counselor or have your parents do it. I know how important “best friends” can be in the same class. Maybe your guidance counselor does, too. It would mean more coming from your parents.

Say the courses seem to hard, or the teachers, and that you would rather have *insert other class & teacher here*. Be assertive, because guidance counselors aren’t going to help you if you walk in there crying saying that you just don’t like the classes.

Ask here if you could be with some of your friends in at least two classes because you feel left out if your not with someone you know.

I felt that way until I actually met the people in my class. Everyone is my friend now really.

Just try to be and ask politely.
