2.5 hours is not a long time, but for kindergarteners it’s more about introducing them to the routine of school and getting them used to being in a school environment. At the elementary school in town, they do that for the first 3 months of school then increase to a full day.

2.5 hr. is long enough for a child to learn a thing or two. they might even get information overload. 2.5 hr. is equivalent to a seminar. these are usually used for brush ups.

good to get them to learn how to get along with others? Does your child enjoy the class? If so let them have those 2.5 hrs to learn to socialize

its good enough i think thats the amount of time my sister was in class last year not counting recess and lunch
