Depends on your school. You may have to retake that class or a similar class in order to get the required amounts to graduate.

If the class you failed is a required course ie, math , science etc. then you will have to take that class over because you did not get a credit for that course. I don’t know why they didn’t tell you this and tell you that summer school was an option unless your school doesn’t have summer school . To get a credit for a class you would have had to at least gotten a 65 or better , is that the case with your other two classes, if not you can not get the credit no matter what your teacher says it’s the law of the education system. What school do you attend in what state maybe I can do a little research for you.

You can most likely make up the credit with an online course. I know that florida offers online classes (I believe it’s call Florida Virtual School) that you take at your home. Don’t freak out about the grades you receive in 9th grade. It’s really not as big of a deal as you think it is. Many colleges don’t put a heavy emphasis on first year grades.

In 9th grade I received two C’s and a D. I cleaned up my grades in the following years and got mostly A’s with the occasional B’s, and now I’m off to a good college. Just make sure to work really hard in the following years. You should also think about volunteering and joining some school clubs if you haven’t already, so you can make up a little extra for the grades you received in 9th grade.

Well your credit system and mine are different. Theres a certain amount of classes you can FAIL in high school and if you failed you don’t get the credit. You need a certain amount of credits to move on to the next grade. Idk what that is so what you need to do is find out from the school how many credits you need to be a sophomore and how many you were credited from 9th grade. If you didn’t get enough to be a 10th grader it’s not the end of the world, you just cant fail no more classes in high school and do courses in summer school. Whatever classes you failed you probably have to retake.

I’d work a little harder..or atleast cheat..or something

Hehe I’d talk to the school and see what they have to say but if you haven’t gotten any notifications yet then you’ll probably have to take a credit make up class early in the morning (if they have that there)

No.

Just take a class in the upcoming years that will make up for the credits you missed.

I failed math my freshmen year.. I took summer school online and got caught up.

Its fine.

Don’t worry about it.
