First day as a freshman. What to expect? How to prepare?

OK, as every soon to be freshman, I’m REALLY nervous about the first day. School starts on the 20th for me. That’s 7 days from now.

I need to know how to prepare for the first day, and what to basically expect at school on the first day. And ANY advice you can give!! Please!

starting out at a whole new school and not knowing anyone is hard trust me. But the best advice i can give you is just to be your self and don’t get caught up in trying to be something your not. And if people like you for you that’s great :), but if they don’t that’s their problem.

Even though you’re a freshman, most upperclassmen will not go out of their way to pick on you. One tip I would give you is to memorize your schedule. This way you don’t look like a dork holding it out in front of you when you walk through the halls. I’m a senior this year but I remember how nervous I was my first day in 9th. Just relax and observe how other people are.

Don’t be afraid to make friends with older students, they will probably be the most help to you. Most of the seniors in my school look out for the freshmen because we’ve all been there before. I’d worry about 10th and 11th graders, most at my school think they own the place now that they’re not newbies anymore.

Good luck and try not to stress!!

dont expect upperclassmen to be nice to you. dont try and make friends with them and it will make it eaiser. Just stay focused on school, not everyones personal life. Trust me, in a few years, you will look back and laugh at how important it all seemed at the time. Oh, and dont date Seniors. All they want is sex. Trust me on that. There are ways of becoming popular without reducing yourself to becoming like a like of freshman sluts.

NO PROBLEM HERE!!!!!

you’re a new person in high school, you’ll be faced with a variety of life-changing experiences. you’ll be surrounded by people who will influence you to take on new goals and challenges. you’ll even make lifetime friends, but don’t hang around the troublemakers….. also study and pass all your classes because your GPA will carry you to college in the long run!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Steer clear of upper classmen(women). Don’t trust any overtly friendly approaches from them. They are most likely trying to set you up for some embarrassment.
