Do universities look at the main academic courses, or they look at electives too?
This upcomming year, I am doing grade 11 consisting of three sciences, socials, english, math and french. I want to plan the science part of the unviersity.
Now the problem is, if I do an elective, like computer programing, would the university care if I got a good mark in that even though its not related to science? Do universities care about the average grade 11 mark, or they care about the specific courses like science and math etc….
Thanks in advance.

You should ask your guidance counselor and look up on the universities you want to attend.
Most universities I know require a 70% overall average in 6 grade 12 U or M courses for admission. (math, english, science required for most courses)
Universities are very competitive so the better your marks are, the better chance you have at getting accepted.

Keep your head up. Don’t permit this grade influence you presently. What’s performed is completed. I received an F in my calculus examination. I had two d’s, a million c and a million b in my tests. Each time i received every grade, i used to be disillusioned in myself. I consistently labored so rough. Don’t discourage your self. Get again magnificence and this time ask questions. Start within the starting and paintings to the top of the publication. I’m the identical method. Sometimes i do not realize however we simply want a bit bit extra paintings. I did not reply your query. Word for encouragement.
