IT would come in handy, but make sure u for sure have a pocket folder, pen, pencil, you’ll be good!

You don’t HAVE to have a back pack for first day of school, but if you don’t bring one, you will regret it. Do you have any idea how much stuff you’ll be given to carry in your arms all day long? It’s a lot, trust me. And the books get really heavy and there isn’t enough time to go to your locker after every class, plus carrying even half of it home will break your back if you don’t have a back pack.
Trust me. Take a back pack. If you don’t have one, take some sort of bag along with you, but take something. You’ll be very glad you did.
PS: Messenger bags and other types of bags are ok. Just as long as you have something large enough to carry a lot of stuff, you’ll be ok. Doesn’t have to be a back pack if you don’t like them.

u can get other stuff other than a backpack if u want it’s really YOUR CHOICE and what u are comfortable with some think backpacks look childish once they hit highschool so they get rid of it and they use shoulder bags or those small ones

well all highschools are different so you might but like at my high school the first day is a joke and we dont do ANYTHING so if you arent sure and you dont know anyone at the highschool you can ask i’d say bring it just incase but if you dont need it just stuff it in your locker

Kinda yeah, are you just gonna bring a sack lol? Bring one cause you might need some paperwork or some books on the first day im in te 7th grade tommorow so…. good luck.

Find out if your school has a website(I’m sure it does) and see what it says on there. Good luck by the way!! I remember my first day and I was scared! Everything turned out great though!!

YES! It may be a day or two before your are assigned a locker and you will need it for several things. Supplies, phys.ed. clothes if you are taking P.E. and the other endless supply of stuff they give you on your first day.

take it from me, I’m not bringing a backpack the 1st day..maybe a purse u know just in case…but usally on the day you register (usally a week before school) they give you your books

there is a simple answer to your question.
if you havent already put all of your school supplies into your locker, then yes you need a backpack to carry all of your things.
or you could use plastic bags….?

Usually not the first day it’s just a roll call and introduction. Bring a pencil and pen though.
