can teachers tell who you like?

Hey I am just wondering out of curiousity (been having alot of these questions lately) but in highschool can teachers tell who you like and kind of keep tabs on that just by seeing where you stare at alot during class. One of my friends said that the teacher probably have a list or something in the staff room know I doubt it is that extreme but can they tell.

Not necessarily, as most teachers are more interested in your academic career than your love life.

However, if a student spends his or her time writing love notes, scribbling his or her crush’s name while in class and the teacher confiscates it, then yes. Also if the student does nothing but sit and stare or talk to his or her crush in the classroom during lecture, then the teacher will mostly likely connect the dots.

Other than that I don’t see how a teacher can find out these things and actually keep tabs and discuss it with the rest of the school staff in the teachers lounge.

Teachers don’ t care about who likes who in the classroom. Your private life is not the subject of the day. But, you should always behave in class, seated next to your girlfriend or your ex- or your worst enemy. You have the privilege to go to school and learn: Take advantage of it. In some countries, young children don’ t have that chance and already work hard like adults.

Well, how obviously are you staring at your lady-love? If you are too obvious, the teacher isn’t going to be the only one who guesses.

Teachers do have to watch the students to see if they are paying attention, so it would be likely that the teacher notices if you are flirting instead of paying attention to her. And teachers tend to not like the competition, you know.

Actually, we’ve got better things to do. If the “like” interferes with education, then we will step it up and speak with the person who is distracted.

Sometimes, we talk about silly or obsessive behaviors but generally, we are more focused with the biggie problems.
