no u cant unless u have relatives in that town and u can use their address and phone but you will have to have your own transportation. were in a big town where it is divided into zones and there are about 12 different grade schools and 8 middle and 9 high my nephew does this and and he is in the 3 living next door but goes to a different school than he should they are using their old address to get away with this and so far it works but would not recommend this the fines are huge i guess depending on the town u live in here i know i would not want to pay the fines. if u do this be prepared to face all the fines

i would not recommend trying to trick them into thinking you live in the other city just so you can go to school there. there was a court case not too long ago where the mother did this to try and get her kids in the better school system, but she got into alot of trouble, fines, etc. most of the time you can pay extra to go to another school system outside of your current location. your taxes paid every year go towards the betterment of the school system where you live, so if you don’t want to use it, you’ll have to pay to go elsewhere. you can also look into private schools

Sure, but you proabbly won’t get a school bus unless you live close to it. I went to a private school that was like 30 minutes away from my house. And we had to drive EVERY SINGLE day. So anyway good luck!

to do it legally, i believe you must pay a fee (maybe equivalent to the cost of you to attend the school in the other city). of course our system (if you live in the US, that is) doesn’t usually allow for the rolling over of the money paid from taxes to the other city…

First, the problem arises only for public schools, not private. Do you have relatives in the other city?

It’s best not to do that because they always seem to find out somehow unless you have blood relatives in that particular city. Discuss it with your guidance counselor and parents present, so maybe they can figure something out 🙂

you probably can, but your parents will have to pay tuition. At least that is what they do in my city.
