1) Work harder than the other students. Put more time into it than they do.
2) Work smarter than the other students. Never but never be embarassed to ask questions of your teachers and seek help or tutoring since your goal is not to look good but to get the grades. Study in a way that will get you the most bang on your tests.
3) Don’t ever let up. Be a slacker for one day and it may cost you that “A” in a difficult class. And that could cost you a spot on the honor roll.
