Wow, that sentence is an irony. I can interpret it in two different ways, and yet they are still both true.

A school-educated child can be considered ‘uneducated’ if we’re referring to attitudes and behavior. I mean, he could be smart and all, but if he’s totally rude, we can classify that as uneducated.

Also, it could also mean that the child is being taught the wrong things at school, and no learning takes place; hence, he is uneducated.

My economics professor once said, “We are educated to become ignorant.” I guess that’s what she probably meant. Hope that helps!

True.

If the expectation is that school will educate the child, all is lost. If the child is encouraged to be curious and learn every day from personal experience, then learning will occur whatever the circumstance. This requires action at home before entering school.

Well, It depends on the parent. Personally, My son is going to a Public school, and he’s in the National Honor Society. In my opinion, if say, the parent Home-Schools the child, the parent may give the child too much freedom and the child may become, well, not so smart. Thats just my opinion.

Well,in my opinion, if he studies well,if he is confident,if he is hard working,if he is having the presence of mind etc, then he must be a well educated child.
