I would like to work with kids but how?
I am a 13yr old and I love to work with kids with all my heart. My mom works at a daycare and I used to work wit the 1 yr olds andsometimes 4yr olds. But my mom got a new job working a new daycare which is not close by at all. [the other one was] I would like to work with kids more..im shy around older people. Babysittting is hard because parents dont want a 13yr old babysitting. Confused and Helpless. I know CPR and First AID i learned so i thought that would help. 😀

If you live in New York state here is a web site, The section is 418-1 if you are looking at a daycare center. Your state should have the same if not look in the phone book under Office of Children and Family Services. Best Wishes and Good luck.

At 13 all you can really do is babysit or volunteer, you can’t get a job until you are at least 14 in most places. You could try to get a volunteer position at a preschool. If your church has a preschool/daycare programs that would probably be a great place to start out and to get some good experience.

well u can take a babysitting class like my sister did and she got a certificate that says I completed red cross training for babysitting and am now officaly ready to babysit so you can just take a class and then but up signs around the block and you can tell them that i am train and show them it and you might get a lot of costumers Good Luck P.S. you won’t have any grown ups around either

the only thing you can do is volunteer to help. Its hard for a parent to put their child in care of another childs hands. Its not only that but goverment laws can put the childs parents and the person who hired you in a lot of trouable

You can work at this place called Kumon- You can teach kids there. Most of them there are young. But I don’t know if you’re allowed to work there you may be able to volunteer though.
