Probably not. The schools do not want parents to coach their students to pass the test. It is not going to make any difference whether or not your child gets into kindergarten. It is a tool for the teacher to know where her students are as far as basic skills. If you see the test and then coach your child, the teacher may assume, incorrectly, that he knows more than he does. This can cause problems for the child when the teacher assumes, due to the test score, that your child should be doing better than he is.
The test is composed of skills that a child should should be able to do by the time he is entering kindergarten. Most students have no problem passing if they attended pre-school or if their parents worked with them at home (that is, letting them have access to pencils, crayons, scissors, blocks, etc.) If for some reason your child does not have these skills, they will be taught in kindergarten.
