where can i download educational videos for my 1+ year old baby. you know, those which teach alphabet, numbers, colors, etc.
my baby just loves to watch tv and i was thinking of showing him those videos instead of the usual cartoons

I’ve got a better idea. Turn off the TV and provide your baby with simple blocks and toys, (not electronic) he can manipulate and play with. There is research that shows that TV watching for kids that young interferes with learning.

The Baby Mozart series are pretty good, although Disney has them now and seems bent on making a booming business out of it, I prefer the pre-Disney ones. They are more genuine.
My cable system has two channels entirely dedicated to developmental programs for baby and programs for any time of the day. Ask your cable system provider about them.

They have great games and little videos. Some of the activities my son did in school were downloaded from this site. It may be a little advanced for a toddler as young as yours, but you never know, try it and see.
