Willyou tell your children what the pubs were like in the early 21st century?
Will you tell them that they were smoky old places where everybody used to laugh a lot flirt and have fun? Or will you tell them that because some old fuddy duddys got together (probaly working class people) and decided that the young mus’nt have fun anymore they would change the pubs to resteraunts?Or worse still pull them down and build council flats? Do you think that these people have done the right thing?

I don’t have to tell my children what the pubs were/are like. They are in them, since they are almost all 30 something. Pubs where I live have not been smoky for a long time – no smoking anywhere in public places here.

My Aunt owns a pub and recently it was in the news. Some women were dancing and they were really drunk, and they were asked to leave. Then there was a fight or something.
But the women were asked to stop dancing because the pub does NOT have a cabaret liscence, it had nothing to do with the fact that they are lesbians.
