im excited for friends, but school???

im not ready for it to begin again

I’m a full time college student in my early 40’s who screwed up big time when I was college age. Got married and had kids right out of high school. Didn’t appreciate a college education then. I do now, because I have discovered I truly do enjoy learning new things. Plus, I wanted to earn a degree, just to prove to myself that I can work hard and accomplish a goal. I even made the honor roll during my first semester. Never did that before!

I’ll be 45 when I get my Associates and 47 when I get my Bachelor’s, but I don’t mind. This is the college experience I didn’t get 20+ years ago. It’s so much better now.

i’ve been bored all summer

and have been anticipating the moment when

i hear the skool bell again and see my buddies.

i know though that after the first day of skool

under the bed will seem pretty friendly.

im excited for the wsu parties and…
