A would probably be the most positive.

B could be made more positive by changing it to “We don’t yell in the learning center” or “We like you to be quiet in the learning center”.

C could be changed to “Be careful on the steps, you might fall.”

D is quite negative, try changing it to “If you put the blocks away more quickly, you’ll have more time to do *insert preferred activity here* afterwards.”

A. When all the blocks have been put away, we’ll go outside to play.

It doesn’t put them down or tell them no….it’s more positive.

The last one, D doesn’t quite work, but it will if you change it to: Let’s see how fast you can put the blocks away.
