Most security guards don’t need to go to any type of special school. The security company that hires you gives you the training that you need.

Most security guards DO need training. Only larger companies train their employees, and in most states you have to be authorized by the state to provide security guard training. Not to mention guard companies will hire you quicker if you already have the training. Here’s a link to a academy.
