What would you invent?
from a single apple. This is an assignment – to come up with an invention from one apple. What are the possibilities? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
I was thinking pencil holder – but seems dull and boring.

Your idea (pencil holder) is great. Specially if you’re thinking about a cavity not only putting the pencils on half an apple. But if you’re lookin for a fancy invention, think about the acidity of the apple, and about the electrical power that you can have from it.
Take an apple, a cooper wire and a trombone. Connect the cooper wire as a positive and the trombone as a negative. Then you can use it as a simple battery. On this base, you can be creative and do a good work.
Just be aware that all the apples don’t have the same acidity. If you take your time you can have a fruit providing 1V

I don’t know! Maybe tape? you could carve the apple a way so the tape fits and can turn appropriately and then add a snall sharp piece to cut off and there you go!! I’m sorry I couldn’t think of anything better!
