The CIA takes persons with all kinds of degrees. A foreign language is, however, very useful, particularly right now arabic. What counts is not the degree, but your performance. They are seeking workers, self starters, persons who can be trusted to get the work done, as most of the work done is independently done, even if you are in an office with lots of other people. Are you a distractible person is another no no. They want focused people. Really character is the most important. And you can have NO flaws in your behavior. You can not even have used pot once, if it is known to anyone who would rat on you. They do a door to door background check on you. They will talk to even your first grade teacher if they think they need to do so. It is highly competitive and very grueling to work for the CIA. Good Luck

The CIA doesn’t require any specific course of study. All that they require is a bachelors degree. However, courses in foreign relations, foreign policy, basic law enforcement, and international law would probably be helpful.
