Umm… The Revolutionary War!

George Washington didn’t win ANY wars on his own … he became a General during the Revolutionary War between Great Britain and the ’13 Colonies’ that became the United States of America. That was the ONLY war George Washington ever fought in. The Colonies ‘won’ the war, but George Washington was only one of many who ‘fought’ the war on the side of the Colonies.

First of all General Washington did not only fight in the revolution, he also fought in the French and Indian war. It was because of his experience in that war that he learned an important lesson. He realized that he didn’t have to win the battles to win the war. All he had to do was keep the war going. Eventually it would get to expensive for the English in terms of human life as well as money. So you might say that George Washington “won” all his battles. As far as true victories in battle go, look up the battle of Trenton on December 26, 1776 and the battle of Princeton on January 3, 1777.
