Tips for ‘Student Body President’ Speech?
I would appreciate any tips regarding the delivery of my speech. eg. Hand movements, tone and such.

-Then, state why you want to be president. Problems you’ve seen around the school, etc.
-State how you are going to fix the problems in the school.
-Lastly, rap up your speech and make sure you thank everybody for listening to you. I always learned that a good speaker thanks their audience.
Ask yourself what you would like to see in a student body class president and then use these ideas in a speech.
I would emphasize listening to what the class wanted, being available and the conduit for their concerns.
One minute is very little time. it sounds like an exercise for a speech class rather than you really running for office.
In any case, good luck.
Don’t plan ahead of time in your mind what you’re going to say. Speak from your heart, in the moment.
