Well of course scientists aren’t man’s best friend… they aren’t dogs 🙂

But personally I think the idea that scientists are “man’s greatest enemy” is ridiculous. I feel it is always useful to know more about the world around us; and scientists of whatever discipline have to support their ideas with evidence and submit them for review by their peers… Whereas politicians can get away with saying almost anything if the media and the public are willing to listen.

Thanks to science we have made so many medical and technological advances… I wouldn’t say “science is our salvation” but I do believe we can gain a lot by using the scientific method.

Science for me is like a weapon, if you use safely and adequately, it can save your life, if contrary, could destroy you.

To be a scientist imply a huge responsibility with the humankind, these persons have in some way the power to make your life easier and happier or so much painful that being death is the best.

It is very difficult to qualify them as friends or enemies, that depends entirely on their ideas and the game are they playing. Nowadays there are many of them working in medicine and technics to save the life, however, also there are a lot working on how to build and atomic bomb cheaper and more effective. In conclusion, what you decide on this matter is correct.

I believe Satan is mans greatest enemy. I will give you that man has been bad for the most part. Satan may push us a certain direction but we have the option to refuse his course. Jer 17 :9– We know that mans” heart is more treaterous than anything and desperate. Proverbs 16:25-There exists a way that is upright before man,but the ways of death are the end of it afterward. 2 Cor4:4-The god of this system has blinded the minds of unbelievers.If your spiritually blind how does that compare to sin.From sin you can repent but if Jehovah God has no place with one, where is their answer. Rev 20:3 –Satan is leading the nations with a spirit of war ,but we’re promise a release from Satan’s dealings until we reach our perfection under Christ, then we can prove our stand on Jehovah’s sovernity once and for all. Heb.2:2 If the word spoken through angels proved to be firm,and every transgression and disobedient act recieved a retribution in harmony with justice; [3]how shall we escape if we have neglected a salvation of such greatness in that it began to be spoken through [our] Lord and was verified for us by those who heard him. Heb.3:12-Beware my brothers,for fear there should ever develope in any one of you a wicked heartby drawing away from the living God. [13]keep exhorting one another ,for fear anyone of you should should become hardened by the deceptive power of sin. I will have to agree that man was equipted to stand on his own but chose the easy [sin] way. Thanks to Jehovah God’s mercy we still have time to put on the suit of armour and our new personalities. look at the science work muslim scientists has done from 900-1300, its full of innovation related to the welfare of human being:

inventing geomatery

inventing aljebra

inventing light theory, glass, camera

inventing anatomy, surgery, instruments

inventing chemicles related to foods and human body

but as soon as the muslim empire fell the scientists started focusing on WMD…. dinamat, missiles, warplanes, fancy tech bombs etc//////

its a nations overall religious tendency that reflect in its innovations.

If you are thinking in weapons, war technology, may be.

But if we think in medicine, informatic, better life level, is best.
