Why do something that you didn’t like to someone else? Is there a point to being mean to freshmen outside of trying to make yourself feel better? People that pick on other people are usually insecure.

In American high schools, it means The 9Th grade and The first year into the high school. It means the 9th year and the new students who are fresh. like fresh fruit! If you go shopping you request where is the fresh fruit section and the word fresh can also mean new in this case the new students at the school!!!! In old fashioned English, the word, fresh, also was used as slang to mean the teenage guy tried to act fresh on the date with the girl and make a pass or flirt to much! The girls would say, Oh! He acts too fresh on a date meaning he was trying to make sex. Fresh used to be a slang word and still us used.

You have no reason to be mean to them. So you would be very immature to treat someone badly just because of their title “freshman”. Later in life, some of the freshman might become some of your closest friends!

Well, you’ll be in there classes by the end of this year so, better make a friend!

no1 treats freshman bad they just screw with them sometimes its those stupid *** movies that make it seem like freshman get picked on…everyone messes with a freshman once in a while but no1 just beats their *** for the hell of it

u should be nice cause u were in that grade before and people in higher grades made fun of u..so how did u feel?? did it feel good? no..think about how those ppl u want to make fun of would feel..they would feel sad!!

The upperclassmen should not have been mean to you just as you should not be mean to the new freshmen.
