I’m 19 years old and I’m thinking about going back to school. I came from another country in 2002. I came and lived with my father which I had never lived with ( I was 14 at the time). Since the day I came he told me “in this country you pay for everything” I didnt get it at the time. The next month I had to start paying him $500 per month to be able to live in the house while I was going to school. So I got a job. I had to get up at 6:30 am to go to school, get out at 2:10 pm take the bus at 2:30 be at work at 3:00 and get off at 11:00 pm to be home at 12:30 am. I had to do the same thing everyday. My GPA went from 3.16 to 0.12. I was burning out. so i had to quit school to be able to pay my father for the rent. A year later I tried to go back but I only lasted a week. and dropped out again. I forgot to say I’m gay. Now I have partner, he’s 8 years older than me. We’ve been togerther for about 2 year. I have stopped working and I was thinking bout going back to shool. What do u think?
