I am always afraid of facing the public. I could fearlessly face an angry mob but the audience with its eyes forucces on you -the very idea of it-is nightmarish. My usual Freudian dream is of facing such a contigency with the foregoe result of the audience laughing derisively or sometimes throwig rotton eggs and tomatoes at me.But then I came across Winston Churchill. He confided in his friend that he was really not a speaker, much less a good one. But the very idea of the audience(the fools)listening intensely to my speech convinced me that they are greater fools than me and there is no reason to be afraid to blurt out whatever comes to mouth.”Those guys even applaud and even Press who should know better reports that the talk was very impressive.

From that time onawards I have become a star speakere in my school and society.

Thanks Winston!

I did volunteer work at a sea turtle rescue place and I supervised the teens who volunteered on the weekends. One day we got a group from MENSA and NO ONE wanted to take them on the tour; of course, the job fell to me as the only available adult. I was a nervous wreck but I did the slideshow, answered their questions and then took them on a tour of the facility. They had a great time and complimented me not only to my face but also to the director. I was amazed at how kind and attentive they were.
