Please help?
And I REALLY NEED this degree to get in to a masters program in health and social development as I don’t have any other qualifications.
The problem is that I’m finding it hard to study psychology, when I know that I’m not gonig to be continuing it. I feel like, it will be a waste of time to study. But if I don’t study then I’ll be nowhere.
How do focus more on the present than on the future? How do I tell my self that this is important, although I’m not going to be doing it for the rest of my life?

I’m a pharmacy student and like you, sometimes I feel bored with the material. So what I do is imagine myself using this “boring” knowledge in a real life situation.
For ex: when I have to learn about the different doses of opioid analgesics (which is veryyyy boring), I imagine myself as a pharmacist in the ER. There’s a patient in great pain and the heath care team wants an answer from me as to which opiod to use and at what dose. And of course I have to get it right to save this patient!!!!!! What I do is make the situation more serious to tell myself that I’m not studying just to pass the test, I’m studying because people’s lives may depend on it.
Good luck!
