Need internet article database for research – help!?

For my comp class, I need to access a SCHOLARLY internet search database to find an article to summarize and respond to. My school provides databases like this, but I’ve lost my passwords! =(

Does anyone here have login information for something like that? I need it as soon as possible, thanks so much for your help!

I’m back…and this still sucks.

There is always Jstor depending on what kind of article you need and what you are responding to. Jstor is a database that focuses of historical research.

There’s Lexis and Westlaw as well. I don’t know if that would be considered “scholarly” per se, but it is well respected and has a number of contributors.

I believe that you can create your own logins when you go to these sites but they’re not free unless you can get to a university campus where they usually have the software on library computers that you can access for free (with the exception of Westlaw though you could get that at a law school campus).

Hope this helps.
