mailing from my mail box??!??
i put my letters in the envelope twice and the mail man didnt pick it up. if i catch him putting mail in my mail box can i just hand him the letters? what should i say to him when i ask him to deliver the letters? (im only 14 so i dont know how to do all this)

You have to put the red flag up on the side of your mailbox to let him know it needs to be picked up. And if you see him, it’s fine to ask him to mail them. Just say, “Is it okay if I hand these to you to send out?”

When you put mail in the box that needs to be mailed, put the flag on the box up. That lets him/her know that you have mail going out. You can also hand the mail to your mail carrier (Ask them how they are doing while you are at it! They love when people just talk to them, not complain!)

make sure the letters have the right amount of postage in the upper right hand corner – for a regular letter, you need a 41 cent stamp i think
