As everyone knows, Richard Dawkins, former assistant professor at the University of California, was given a newly-invented and dubious position of “Professor of Public Understanding of Science” by a millionaire some years ago. But Richard Dawkins appears to be abusing this position by combining personal opinion with scientific facts and dishonestly calling it “science”. Instead of promoting science (which many people regard as one the greatest testaments to God’s glory and possibly a means to discover God eventually), he is promoting “scientism”. By teaching the public scientism instead of science, isn’t Richard Dawkins greatly abusing his position as “Professor of public understanding of science”?
