Near the poles at certain times of year, there are 24-hour periods of light or darkness. That’s as close as it gets.

The earth wobbles or more properly known rotates on it’s access so no, but near or at the poles there is figuratively 6 months of daytime and six months of nighttime.

Essentially at the poles, on the summer and winter solstices (June/December) it is either all night or all day, depending upon which pole you are at.

I was in Stockholm and Helsinki this summer, and while there WAS night, the sky was never totally dark while we were there — there was always just a bit of light in the sky. And, these places are still quite a distance from the North Pole. Pretty cool!
