Why not teach them at home at 3 and 4, so that by the time they go to school (at the regular time), they will already know the basics of reading, colors, shapes and math?

If you hold them out too long (or send them early), they will be a different age than those in their classes, making it harder to fit in all their school lives.

I believe that it will be much better for your children to go to school at an earlier age. This will allow them to develop social skills faster and learn how to live independently at a younger age. By sending them at an older age, you are only doing them a disadvantage as they have the possibility of being quite sheltered and behind the other kids developmentally as far as social skills are concerned; thus, it could lead to farther problems down the road, like continued difficulty making friends in middle school or high school, and even into their careers – in today’s world, social skills and networking are vital. Further, sheltering them can even affect their attitudes toward life e.g. not having a drive to make it on their own and wanting to remain at home.

If you send them earlier they will learn earlier and maybe want to learn and get a headstart on life when they are still young.

If you send them when they are older, they may just learn to put things off and not get a realyl good start right off… really really age 3&4 are the best
