Aloha from Down Unda!

I took mine in 1967 but if I member correctly, it was a series of 5 two hour tests…Any time ya gotta sit fer two hours answering a hunerd n fiddy kwestions, no cigarette breaks, yeah, it’s a tuther mucker. But on the upside, cause I did so gud, I qualified fer da CLEP Test, anutter 5 two hour sessions grantin me 30 semester hours! Madgin dat, a High School drop out wid a year of University Credit while my friends waz still waiting to gradumate in ’68!

Check with yer online Board of Education through Google ~

ummm…too e-z!

The GED test is Extraordinarily easy, if you can spell and subtract multiply and divide you should be fine. You only have to score over 40% to pass i believe. I took the GED as i had to start working early in life and i scored above 90% on every test and 100% on one. Unless you have very little education or learning is hard for you you will be fine. I did not even study for the test i just made an appt and went in to take it.

I don’t believe it’s hard at all. I’m in Baton Rouge and I know we have a center dedicated to helping folks get their GED. I’m not sure where you are in Louisiana, but if you’re in BR the center is Christa McAuliffe in Sherwood Forest Subdivision. If you’re elsewhere, you may want to contact your local department of education and find centers closer to you! Best of luck!
