If I do this………………?

once i graduate high school i move to italy, go to an art school there and live there a few years, then depending on what happens to me i would either come back here or stay there.

I speak Italian and have alot of family there. I also have a girlfriend there. Ive been there before, obviously. I love it there. Ive lived in the US all of my life and I graduate this upcoming year.

If I left could I come back? Could I do any of what I just said? What do you think?

i’m 99% sure that you could! if you keep your US citizenship, then you’re allowed back in the country provided you have your passport, visa (maybe, probably, because you’re probably staying in italy for more than 31 days) other documents, etc. then i’m pretty sure that you can. of course, you might want to ask the people who give you your boarding pass at the airport exactly what you need or maybe check the airport website to make sure. each country has its own policy on traveling abroad.

Yes, I think It’s quite possible. If you leave-I’m sure that you could come back. It seems that this will take some time…going there, and coming back….It may be hard to come back after you’ve stayed there for a couple of years-and why would you want to come back? For visits I know, but If you were thinking about moving all the way back to the U.S, I’d be like….”okay then….” But this Is of course, possible.
