It is unfortunate that you see education as pointless — that is what high school is. However, before your drop out again I would suggest you go to your nearest adult education center and find out what a GED requires (look in your phone book, or ask your high school counselor). You’ll be given a pre-test in each of the subject areas you must pass in order to obtain your GED. You may be surprised at how hard those tests are. If you don’t pass, you’ll have to take classes until you do.

I also recommend that you go to the “hair school” you want to attend and make sure they accept GEDs in place of a diploma; not all places do. (Remember, your decision will remain with you the rest of your life. This is your last chance to earn a high school diploma.)

I hope you have talked to your parents about this, as they can help you decide much better than any one as to what the right thing to do is. Personally, I believe that “the tassle is worth the hassle” but then, I’m a teacher.

Good luck. I wish you the best.

fibnishing and eductaion is always a good thing to do these days and many employers will have expected you to have finished school at the highest level!! just do whatever you feels is right but if you decide to levae school then make sure you have a job to go straight to without a wait!!
