I really really don’t like my spanish teacher?

I don’t want to be in her class, but my counselor won’t let me transfer out! I just don’t like her, she’s a *****…..

Why won’t he/she let you transfer? If you know that you can’t possibly get out of the class, then just suck it up and deal with her. You don’t even have to talk to her…just come into class, sit down, do your work, and leave. That’s what I do with the teachers that I don’t like. Oh yeah, and always give her eye contact. That way, she won’t call on you. The teachers always pick on students who aren’t paying attention.

Well, you might as well learn now that you have to work with people you don’t like. If you treat her the exact way you treat a teacher you love, you will find that the time goes faster. Your counselor made the right decision. But I’m sorry you don’t like your teacher. Hopefully she won’t feel the same way about you. Fortunately, teachers usually bend over backwards to be more than fair to a kid they don’t like, so even if she doesn’t like you, you’ll be ok as long as you behave well. Hang in there.

I had plenty of teachers I disliked..some quite a bit. Your best bet is to sit back, not say much, do your homework and connect with a Spanish tutor that can help you do well in the class despite the nasty teacher.

If you are really set on switching, have one of your parents call and talk to the counselor…most guidance counselors will listen to a parent even if they wont listen to the kid.
