Just call up a local food bank or soup kitchen and see if they are looking for volunteers. You can look in your phone book to the numbers for these places or search online. I know when I was in high school I had to do community service and volunteered at my local food bank packaging cans in boxes to be sent to the less fortunate. There was no paper work that I had to fill out. I think you can just call and they will tell you when they need a volunteer and you just show up. If I were you I would make a chart for each time you go and volunteer and have someone who runs the program sign it for you once you have finished with your hours for that day.
