i am the worst procrastinator ever, so let me lend a hand!

what do you procrastinate by doing? i am a TV watcher, or a computer geek. So heres what i do. I put sticky notes all over about how i’ll feel if i don’t do what i’m supposed to do, and that i can turn on the TV when i’m done. i write a schedule too, scheduling in what i want to do at the end of the day. I’ll tell my husband (hey i’m 22 and still have this issue) to watch me and not let me turn on the TV or computer until i’m done. getting support from friends by working together could help too. Make a study schedule with a buddy (or a crush) because you won’t want to let someone else down with your procrastination.

good luck, and with time, you can get over it. just keep thinking “if i don’t do it now, i’ll really regret it later.” think in your stomach how awful it feels to go to bed at 2am and be tired, it should be motivation for change!

you could always reward yourself too… one week of doing nightly homework on time and breaking bad habits and you can get yourself something small. Write it down and keep it posted where you can see it Mon-Fri so you know what your working toward!

good luck with school, i hope it goes well!

Well, you almost have the same problem as I do. I’m a freshman.

But sometimes, what I do is I prioritize my tasks and academics.

I try to “experiment” on which would do me better like,

1. Preparing all subjects for the week during the weekend.

2. Giving-up free-time. (Which is quite hard to do.)

3. Allotting time-frames per subject. (Like, an hour per subject and 30 minutes for projects)

(Tip:

To avoid procrastinating,

listen, take note and focus on what your teacher is really saying. Have a pen always on your table when there are lectures. Having notes can make less time for study and more time for fun!)

“Prioritize” is the word to look for.

Hope it helps. 🙂

Let me clue you in on a very real item here — if you don’t get your lay around butt in gear and cue up for a get to it on an everyday basis — you not only are in for a rude ending to all of this — but — you are, on a daily basis — forming a future that is going to see you in the loser’s circle for a long long time !! Life does not reward the dragging butt !! And the longer you take to get with it — the farther behind you’ll be — and the harder it will be TO catch up — SO — no more excuses here, sport —- time to either get with the program or decide to be a welfare recipient and a soup line stander !! The choice is YOUR’S to make !!!

I’ve obtained matters like putting jewelry. I am going to do anything approximately it in the future … I feel procrastination is not always a loss of motivation up to a loss of esteem and skills of what precisely to do.

I’m a night owl too, but after owning a business you have to have a certain level of motivation that keeps you going. Focus on the end result and know that your hard work is going to be worth something if you can just get the ambition to do it. Wean yourself off your night activities to try to get back in the swing. If that doesn’t work… get a bigger mug for your coffee.

I`ll tell you how to…….nah, I think I`ll wait until tomorrow.

Laying all joking aside, this is something you will have to achieve yourself. It`s called responsibility. You know whats needed, you`re just gonna hafta do it. No one can do this for you.
