I’m not sure what to go to college for?
Hello, I am 20 years old and married. My husband is going to college for journalism. I am going to get my ged and enroll in the same community college. I am very undecieded on what i should major in. I was looking into real estate because theres tons of jobs you can take on if real estate falls through, theres morgages, lenders ect… I am also a very fast typer. Im not very good at grammer or speaking , i am really an individual who likes their space and mostly working alone. ANy ideas? plz share what you did, how it was, what you do ect…. thanks!

Perhaps you can do something in marketing (especially print) but that may require you to work in a team. Not many single alone jobs these days. I would get use to the idea of teamwork if you want to get a really good job.

Don’t be in such a hurry to declare a major. While you’re getting your A.A. degree in community college take a variety of electives that appeal to you. ( you have to take them anyway). If you enjoy a particular class, take another class in the same field, if you enjoy that class you might want to consider going onto a 4 year University and majoring in that subject, you’ll really only spend 2 years there because you’ll have completed your A.A. so you’ll only be focusing on classes in your major field of study. Just relax and enjoy the experience, college is very exciting. Oh, you don’t need to go to college for real estate, you can just take a course and pass a test to get your license. Good luck 🙂

Do any General ed. courses first, something may pique your interest. You could look into data entry fields if you a fast and accurate typer.
