You watch something for a period of time to see what happens.

You see when you found what you are looking for.

You look but you may or may not find what you want to see.

You find when you discover what you are looking for.

You look for what you wish to discover or find.

You hear when you discover what you are listening for.

You listen when you are trying to find what you wish to hear and while you are hearing it.

i’m a foreigner too. How long have you been in North america?

Where’d you move from?:

Whatch- to see in present tense

See-is to see in the future tense

look-to see in the paste tense

look up the defineition for tenses and you’ll get it better

hear-to listen in the present tense

listen-currently listening to a conversation or some sort of noise.
