How to balance, work, fun, and hs senior year?
I’m a senior in high school and I’m taking all advance classes just so I can get into a university. I’m trying to change my ways so I can study more often, but my body is tired from clubs, sport, and chores, not to mention that I’m getting a part time job this year to get a start on saving more money for college (I don’t know if I qualify for Fin. Aid). I tried taking naps to restore energy, but I wake up cranky and my “nap” goes up to three hours, oh and my first class is seven in the morning. And I eat constantly during school to keep myself awake.
So what can I do to balance all of this out?

Pull back on your extra-curricular activities, especially since you’ll be getting a job. Also, make sure you’re eating a normal healthy diet and getting a good night’s sleep. It’s important to remember that you are only one person with two hands and two feet: you can’t do everything. And when you start at university, don’t load yourself down with a gazillion courses. Be realistic in your choices. Remember that for every hour of actual class time, you should be spending two hours of study time.

Believe me sleeping early and other routine things won’t really help. The only thing that will really help is believing in yourself and trusting your abilities. Aim only for the A’s. Don’t ever think of giving up and always do your best. Good Luck and I hope that you will get 4.00 GPA , and YOU CAN DO IT 🙂 !!
