How does Suspension work?
i’m a 4.0 student, i’ve never had demerits/referrals, detentions, suspensions or expulsions, or anything bad on my record. today my cell phone went off in class…(theres a cell phone policy in our school…if it goes off, you get a one day suspension)
so what i want to know is, i’m sure it will go on my record, but will they specify that igot it for my CELL PHONE GOING OFF and not something bad i did? also, when colleges look at your history..will this affect my chances of getting into a good college, such as U of M (michigan/ann arbor), will it be that big a deal still cuz it was a cell phone..and not like a fight or something?
also, on the day of suspension, what will happen if i just show up at school..? (i don’t plan to but just curious) and do i have to deal with paperwork and stuff? i know i have to make up missed work…but other then that, is there something i’m suppose to do on that day? add any extra info pls.

Having a ringing phone in class IS something bad you did. It’s just as disruptive as fighting and as disrespectful as whispering in class.
