Not the worst, but could be better. I think post-secondary education is much too highly priced. We’re graduating students loaded in debt, and that’s a terrible way to start life.
As to high school, I like the European method of “sorting” students into different schools and career tracks. Gives them a good head start and they are not taking classes they don’t need.
I really hate NCLB. I think it is impossible and it really shorts our top students as it is the bottom ones who are getting all the attention so that they will become “proficient.”
