Friendly.
Don’t be overeager, but being too shy makes people think you’re a snob. If you can, take an elective that you really like (band, art, drama, etc.) because the kind of people who take that elective are likely to be like you. If you don’t have room for electives or the one you want is full, try joining a couple of clubs that have some interest to you. You’ll soon find that you have made friends.
