I used to have a phone number in NYC that was 912-0125. Some fax machines need you to dial ‘9’ first — and others do not. Lots of people would start with the ‘9’ first anyway. If they were faxing to NJ — they would dial 9-1-201 — and then the phone number. If the first two numbers were 25 — they would get me.

I eventually hooked my phone up to my computer so I could receive faxes. That allowed me to get in touch with the people who were sending it to me.

If you can’t do that — why not send a fax to that machine. Address it to the manager — so that someone in charge can find out who is sending it to you.

If the number is listed, it will give the name and address of the owner.
