How Do I Convince My Dad To Get Me A Laptop?
My dad and I saw this great deal that’s a laptop at Fry’s Electronics, but he doesn’t seem to think I need one right now. Although I’m in Middle School, I want one because I want to feel more advance than just a regular desktop PC I have in my room. Although some of you may think I’m greedy, mostly all my friends I have one and I feel embaressed without one. They actually stole the excuse of using it for road maps and homework, but they said I don’t need one until high school. Although that’s true, I really want one. Any possible suggestions?

You could try offering to pay for it yourself(at least part of it). However, you may be kicking yourself when you get to high school and want a new one, but they think that the old one still works fine. You’ll probably be more embarrased then when you have to lug around your old cranky one that’s not as slim/advanced as others’.

Where are you in a rich community? Obviously because in my travels Ive seen tons of kids not even have a moden computer period. The fact that you have a desktop PC means something.
You don’t need one until highschool or even college. Nothing in middle school requires a labtop. You’d be suprised just how many american teens in THIS country dont own labtops.

That’s far too expensive for you right now. There are much smaller and cheaper ones. Then maybe you can work your way up the more high-tech ones.

Get a job and save up for one, this will show your dad you r responsible ask if you can save up half will he match the other half .
