How do I become smarter in school?

I use to get all A’s and some A pluses I was the smartest and most cunning out of most. But now I get A’s and one B in Math( which i find very tricky) my parents and I find the B unexeptible.

Anyway I find my self procratinaing, becomeing lazy and just not on my edge. How do I get on my game? I feel like an ignorate mess. Also I need test tips on studying and test taking.

This is the EXACT same thing that is happening to me too!

I just started grade.9 and I feel so lazy and I don’t even care about what happens.

I just try and get my stuff done, and go in for help after school if I need help. Also latley I’ve been trying my hardest to keep ontop of things.

Maybe you should try some of those?

Well, to start with, I would get checked out by a medical doctor to rule out any health issues that could be effecting your studies.

All kinds of things can effect how you think: diet, exercise, stress, health-you name it.

For a place to start, you might want to check out “Healing ADD the Breakthrough Program That allows You to See and Heal the 6 Types of ADD.”

To aid with organization (ADD or not) Susan C Pinsky’s ” Organizing Solutions for People With Attention Deficit Disorder: Tips and Tools to Help You Take Charge of Your Life and Get Organized.”

Only a medical doctor can evaluate and make the diagnosis of ADD and thereafter assist you with drug therapy if needed, however for a solid indication if this avenue needs to be explored, you can check out further information and the self-test online at: http://www.brainplace.com/

Other than that, check out books at your library on study habits, memory, organization and that sort of thing. There really is a lot of helpful information available at your local library for those individuals motivated to solve their problems.

A knowledgeable clerk at most large health food stores may be able to tell you what products most persons expressing a wish to increase their mentation have purchased, and any feedback that these customers may have provided.

I hope you find this answer useful in helping with your situation.

relax. there is nothing wrong with a b. I usually get all A’s too but but when a B comes around i just try a little harder next time.take it easy.

As soon as you come home do your homework for like an hour strait. distraction free (no TV or ipods). take small breaks too because no breaks sorta shuts your brain down. then do your work in half hour intervalls.

and make acronyms and little tricks to help you remember things rather than flat out memorizing them. it helps me a lot.
