what i say is always be prepared, you should have one notebook for every class FOR SURE!! bring lots of pencils, pens, paper, folders, book covers, ruler, calculator, graph paper, and anything else your school requires! even though you will probably not need all that the first day..bringing it shows the other students and teachers that you are prepared for anything even though you dont really know anyone! At lunch be brave and if you see a group of kids who look like your type of crowd back in your old school dont be afraid to go and ask to sit with them. you are better off doing that then looking stupid sitting all by yourself. and hey if they turn out to be complete losers or really arent your type…just switch to another table the next day…i promsie, there is so much going on the first couple weeks of school no one will notice…not even your rejects. they probably wont even care! the last i can say is good luck! highschool can be pretty rough at some times but im sure your a great student and will make a great friend to a lot of people! have fun and good luck!
i have attached a great website for anyone who is going back to school! some great tips!

Before your first day you should go to the freshman orientation. It will help A LOT. I think you can stay as long as you need to situate yourself as best you can. Don’t worry about memorizing the school layout right then, or even during the first week, it takes about three or four weeks.
The first day you should bring a folder/binder with paper in it and a pen and pencil. The teachers will give you a list of supplies to buy for their class over the weekend.
In Texas you have to keep an overall average of 70 in a class. There are no D’s. If you say, “Whew, I got a D!” people will give you strange looks.
Good luck!

Well, I don’t live in Texas, but High School is still high school : ) Last year I was a freshman– Starting H.S is always scary, but after the first week, you’ll totally be used to it. On the first day, usually all the teachers do is give you a paper or instructions on what you’ll need to bring/have for your class. It’s a good idea to bring at least 1 or 2 binders to school, that way, you wont be taking all of them on one specific day. And you’ll probably want to have your pens/paper/pencils the first day too. Good Luck! You’ll do great!

Algebra or Geomerry Spanish l or French l (and so on) ADV Social examine course (American history) Adv technology course English l positive paintings credit (Band is often relaxing) actual Ed/wellbeing (If needed) (If no longer then you definately’ve yet another non-obligatory) non-obligatory (Photographics replaced right into a large classification) wish this helped! FYI lots of the ADV training are an entire joke so in case you like to circulate to collegeand make yourslelf look greater appropriate. Take ADV Social examine and ADV technology training. additionally then ADV Math and English training might properly be brutal. do no longer take them till you’re some wizard at those matters. I found out that the problematic way.

I start highschool next year but you should just bring what the school list says, and you’ll be fine. Just talk to people and smile and you’ll find a group of friends somewhere…. good luck!
